This project was created to form part of a plan, developed by Michelle Obama, towards healthier America. At the end of the exhibition, Nénão´s artwork was exposed and auctioned in an art gallery in the heart of Manhattan, New York in 2014.
This project, carried out in the famous city of Knokke in Belgium in 2019, was developed for the launch of McLaren GT, ready to hit the tracks. The opening event took place at the region´s famous golf club, and the artwork created on canvas by Nénão was inspired by the city as well as the curves made widely known by the legendary Ayrton Senna.
The first ever graffiti artwork to be found within the premises of McDonald´s in Brazil, was created by Nénão in the city of Jaguariuna in 2020. The art was brought into existence in an external area of 112m² and consists of cheerful and colourful spaces perfect for selfies, as well as of icons such as the famous train, that is the symbol of the city.
Developing artworks for the company since 2007. This project, carried out at the Red Bull Brazil Athlete Training Centre in 2017, consisted of creating an artwork on a surface of approximately 40m² and had a purpose of inspiring athletes and future professionals by creating a motivating environment and encouraging to team spirit and unity.
Graffiti project developed at the Vineyard Unit, in an external area of 30m². This artwork affirms the importance of eliminating inequality in the labor market as well as creating equal opportunities for growth and development for all regardless of age, race, gender, sexual orientation and disability.
Gustavo Nénão, 38 years old, graduated at PUC Campinas with a degree in Marketing and Advertising, has developed artworks in 39 countries, on 3 different continents in his 26 years of career. Nénão was the only Brazilian to carry out a project for an exhibition ´Taking Back the Streets´ in New York in 2014, by an invitation of the former U.S. first Lady Michelle Obama. Recently, his schedule has consisted of working as a lecturer in several workshops. The latest venue took place in the famous Zentrum Paul Klee Art Museum in Bern, Switzerland. He is currently based in London but is participating actively in projects across Europe, North and South America, including Brazil.
